Restorative Environment Consultation Services

Restorative Design Consultation

$150 — 1 Hour

$20 — Per Additional Hour

This is GloWing Design’s basic consultation service. I will use principles and research in the field of environmental psychology to advise you on maximizing the restorative potential of your chosen space.

This consultation includes:

  • An interview with you to understand your needs, your preferences, and how your chosen space is (or is not) meeting them.

  • A tour of your chosen space to understand your situation first-hand.

  • Suggestions and advice on improving the space, with an eye toward reducing stress, improving health, and creating your desired atmosphere. My suggestions are based on existing research and evidence from the field of environmental psychology.

  • All suggestions and advice delivered via text and PDF for you to keep.

$225 — 1 Hour

$20 — Per Additional Hour

This service combines the Restorative Design Consultation with a style consultation.

This consultation includes:

  • An interview with you to understand your needs, your preferences, your style and color preferences, and how your chosen space is (or is not) meeting them.

  • A tour of your chosen space to understand your situation first-hand.

  • Suggestions and advice on improving the space, with an eye toward reducing stress, improving health, and creating your desired atmosphere. My suggestions are based on existing research and evidence from the field of environmental psychology.

  • Suggestions and advice on colors, patterns, furniture, and other aesthetic elements of the space.

  • All suggestions and advice delivered via text and PDF for you to keep.

Neurodivergence-Focused Consultations

Neurodivergence-Focused Restorative Design

$150 — 1 Hour

$20 — Per Additional Hour

This is GloWing Design’s basic consultation service, modified to emphasize the unique needs of neurodivergent clients.

This consultation includes:

  • An interview with you to understand your needs, your preferences, and how your chosen space is (or is not) meeting them. This may include tools such as fabric swatches and decibel meters to help clarify your sensory preferences and aversions.

  • A tour of your chosen space to understand your situation first-hand.

  • Suggestions and advice on improving the space, with an eye toward reducing stress, improving health, and creating your desired atmosphere. My suggestions are based on existing research and evidence from the field of environmental psychology.

  • All suggestions and advice delivered via text and PDF for you to keep.

A La Carte Services

Mood Board

I provide a digital “mood board,” a collection of images to give you direction and inspiration for your continued work on the space. This mood board is provided alongside the written suggestions, after the appointment.

Product Recommendations

I will find and recommend specific furniture, decor, and other products for your space, along with pricing and links (or other means of procuring them). These recommendations are provided alongside the written suggestions, after the appointment.

Added Time: 2 Days per Room

Added Charge: +$50 per Room

3D Model

I provide a 3D model of your space in order to help you better visualize the design ideas. You will need to provide accurate measurements of the space for this feature. This model is provided after the appointment.

Added Time: 3 Days per Room

Add Charge: +$100 per Room
